Selly Oak Phase II Florence Place Development

Following the successful conversion and sale of West Lodge on the Raddlebarn Road, Mia Property Group are pleased to announce the grant of planning permission for their next phase at the former Selly Oak Hospital.

Detailed Planning Permission was granted by Birmingham City Council Planning Committee on the 24th September for the conversion of the existing Hospital Buildings together with some new build development providing a total of 46 one and two bedroom apartments.
The development will involve the refurbishment of the well known historic landmark former hospital buildings. These individual buildings known as K Block, Nursing School and Well House will provide 38 one and two bedroom apartments.

In addition to the existing buildings 8 one and two bed new build apartments will also be constructed beside the Nursing School on the Raddlebarn Road frontage.

The scheme will be set within formal landscaped gardens with onsite residents parking.

Financial contribution offer:

Offer is a monthly payment of £500 for a duration of 10 months (totalling a maximum of £5,000) which you could use to pay towards you mortgage payments for your new home from the date of legal completion.


The offer is subject to an asking price offer


The payment is per property and not per named purchaser. Multiple purchasers of a single property will receive the same lump sum amount jointly as a single purchaser of a single property. We will not be liable for ensuring multiple purchasers of a single property receive their proportionate share of the lump sum amount payable.


Purchasers will need to nominate a single bank account into which the monthly payment should be deposited. The nominated bank account information should be provided ahead of legal completion. Purchasers are responsible for ensuring the bank account information provided is complete and correct. We cannot be held liable for any payments which are delayed, go missing or do not reach the nominated bank account due to an error in the account information which is provided to us/our solicitors/conveyancers, or in the case of a banking error or for any other reason outside of our control.
